Inspired by "A Espuma do Dias (Terracota com menino)" - João Pedro Rodrigues

Prim&Proper Skin Contact White Wine draws its inspiration from the artwork “A Espuma dos Dias”, a terracotta piece that captures the irony of the relentless search for ephemeral brilliance and its subsequent dissolution.

Crafted using the ancestral technique of curtimenta (skin contact), this wine develops a golden hue, texture, and complexity that defy superficiality, much like the artwork challenges haste. It is a wine with body, memory, and a tannic richness that invites us to look beyond the immediate.

Just as the artist reminds us of the fragility of the “gold that dissolves, like foam, on the surface of the days,” this wine celebrates the slowness of transformation and the essence that endures.
It is the most structured and provocative expression of Douro.

The Label That Whispers to Us

Inspired by the work "CONSTRUCTIONES" by Gil Maia

The Prim&Proper Red takes inspiration from the triptych “CONSTRUCTIONES” by Gil Maia, a work that uses fans as its vocabulary. Created under the impulse of a new passion, the painting evokes the silent and seductive communication found in spanish culture.

The set of three bottles reproduces the distinct panels of the artwork, manifesting its entire artistic vision in the wine. In the glass, it reflects the material the painter transforms into art, with a color “darkened in the varnish” and an emotion that is revealed “just as much without words”.

This wine is body and spectrum. It is the most powerful and full-bodied expression of the Douro, a trilogy of structure, passion, and art.
